Mar 16, 2022. Time to do a brake fluid flush and just notice in the Bentley manual that BMW's with ABS/DSC should use Dot 4 low viscosity brake fluid. Cars with ABS/ASC use regular DOT4 brake fluid. My question is this really necessary? I've owned my E46 with ABS/DSC for 20 years and have alway use plain DOT 4. Never noticed the Bentley notes.
